Here at GNI Water, we Sell, Install, Service, and Relocate Whole House Water Filtering Systems. We educate individuals concerning the health implications associated with the use of tap water in today’s environment.

We provide systems that remove chlorine, chlorine by-products, medications, hardness, fluoride, heavy metals, pesticides, lead, bacteria, cyst, fertilizers, phosphates and radiation from your water.

The reason we started being concerned about the water we drink is because I am a retired registered nurse who has had cancer twice and through my research to restore my health I saw the need for a whole house filtered water in our home. Your body is 70-75% water, you are constantly loosig water and have to replace it. Have you ever thought of what you are replacing that lost water with? I did and found that unhealthy water leads to an unhealthy body, how can it not?

My father was a victim of tap water, he was diagnosed with bladder cancer last year and dies early this year with bladder cancer. My father dranked lots of tap water all of his life. He believed the municipality he lived in would’t give him anythng to drink that would hurt him. Sad to say so many other people believe like my dad did. The ingestion of disinfection byproducts (chlorine by-products) has been associated with bladder cancer in multiple studies and is the #1 cause of bladder cancer in the U.S. If you drink chlorinated tap water you have a 95% greater chance of getting bladder cancer than those who don’t. You also have a 93% percent greater chance of getting other cancers if you drink chlorinated tap water than those who don’t. You also have a greater chance of developing coronary artery disease if you drink chlorinated tap water.

My husband and I started this business after he worked with a water purification company installing whole house water purification systems. He saw that many people wanted the unit but couldn’t afford the cost of the units. For this reason, we decided to search for quality systems to sell that is more affordable to everyone. We provide a high quality and more affordable product.

As mentioned I have had breast cancer twice, I have also been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder called Sjogren Syndrome (which 90% of the time attacks Women in the prime of their lives),  arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, diabetes (steroid induced) and asthma.

What all of these conditions have in common is that they are all caused by inflammation. Exposure to chlorine DBP’s (disinfectant by- products), fluoride, and other chemicals in most tap water and chlorine treated well water. Did you know these chemicals are one of the main culprits in producing inflammation. DBP’s are produced when chlorine comes into contact with any organic material, there is always some organic matter in natural waters.

Before we bought a whole house water purification and softening system for almost $7000, I was drinking only distilled water from the plastic bottles. I became concerned about cancer causing BPA’s (Bisphenol A) being released from the plastic bottle into the water. Then I started hauling five-gallon blue jugs of water purified through reverse osmosis into my home. This water came from a water purification company. This still didn’t alleviate the problem with the chlorine in the bath water and the rest of the house, where I was exposed to more chlorine and DBP’s than if I had dranked the water.

Then we put water filters on the kitchen sink faucet drinking and on the bathroom shower. This worked until we discovered (by testing the water) that our nine-month shower filter was releasing chlorine after only four months use. I had been exposed to chlorine in the shower without my knowledge. I was still exposed to water used in the other parts of our home.

Besides drinking sometimes up to a gallon of water a day, I showered at least once and sometimes twice a day, I washed my hand often in the bathroom where I was exposed to the chlorine. When I did dishes in the sink and dishwasher, and when I did clothes in the washing machine I was also exposed to the effects of chlorinated water through my skin and inhaling it.

We decided to do something about this because in my search for answers I read a report that a person who uses chlorinated water has 93% greater chance of getting cancer than those who don’t drink chlorinated water. We decided to get a whole house filter to eliminate chlorine and DBP’s in all the water we used in our home.

Since we got the whole house filtration system, about four year now, my medication load has decreased tremendously. I don’t have to use Flonase daily anymore my inhaled meds have decreased in frequency and I was given a less stronger medication. I don’t have as much joint pain, my dry skin (caused by Sjogrens) has also improved. I had a full physical recently and the doctors said all the results were good, my total cholesterol was good even though I refused to take statin drugs last year. I also use supplements, my A1C is 5.3 (I take supplements for type 2 diabetes also). Now I am more active than I have been in the last 23 years.

Now, it has become our goal to help others find ways to help them prevent cancer, heart dis-ease and other inflammatory dis-eases (absence of ease) in their lives. Since we are 70-75% water that has to be constantly replaced, filtering the water we drink to remove chlorine, DBP’s and other contaminants are one of the main 7 ways I have discovered to help us prevent cancer and inflammatory dis-eases in our lives.
